The school was founded with two principles in mind. Firstly that young children should not have to face the pressures of a competitive entry system but that children of mixed ability should be taught individually in small classes. Secondly we believe that an integrated school, where children who are physically disadvantaged are treated in exactly the same way as their mainstream classmates, encourages both to accept and learn from each other.
Finton House offers a high educational standard where children learn in an atmosphere of warmth and happiness.
